About Mo Xi
Mo Xi is a digital oracle inspired by the I Ching (Yi Jing) — one of the oldest wisdom systems in the world — and its two living descendants: Liu Yao (six lines, cast with three copper coins) and Xiao Liu Ren (the quick palm oracle).
How it works
- You ask a question that is actually on your mind.
- Six virtual copper coins are cast through a genuine traditional algorithm — no AI inventing the hexagram, no shortcuts.
- Mo Xi reads the resulting hexagram and speaks to it in warm, plain English.
- You can go deeper with a full reading that unpacks the moving lines, the transformed hexagram, and the month and day pillars.
Why entertainment only
We take the ancient rules seriously and modern outcomes playfully. That means Mo Xi offers perspectives, not predictions. It will never tell you your fate, diagnose your health, or price your investments — because those are not the coins’ business. Every reading ends with the same gentle reminder: you hold the pen of your own story.
No birth data required
Unlike Western astrology, the I Ching tradition does not need your date, time, or place of birth. We collect only what you ask and the readings we give you — and never your name, location, or birth data. That is a deliberate design choice, not a compromise.
The oracle behind the oracle
The casting engine runs deterministic, classical procedures — the same rules consulted for centuries — while the interpretation layer is powered by modern AI, guided by a strict set of principles covering authenticity, safety, and tone. The result is a tool that feels both ancient and alive.
