1. The service
Mo Xi is an online entertainment experience inspired by the I Ching (Yi Jing) and other traditional Chinese symbol systems. It generates readings using a deterministic casting engine combined with AI interpretation.
Mo Xi is for entertainment purposes only. Readings are perspectives and prompts for reflection — not predictions, and not advice.
2. No professional advice
Mo Xi does not provide, and nothing on the service constitutes:
- medical or health advice, diagnosis, or treatment plans;
- legal advice or assessments of legal outcomes;
- financial, investment, or tax advice;
- or any guarantee of future events.
Never disregard professional advice because of something Mo Xi said. If you are in crisis, reach out to a real human or a local crisis service — the service will always redirect you before offering a reading.
3. What you agree to
- You are at least 13 years old.
- You will not use the service to ask about, or pressure it into answering about, matters involving self-harm, harm to others, or anything unlawful.
- You understand that readings are generated automatically and may vary or be imperfect.
4. Payments
Some features are one-time purchases (for example, an in-depth reading). Payment is handled by our payment partner, which acts as the merchant of record; all charges are clearly displayed before you confirm. Because a reading is digital content delivered immediately, purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.
5. Your data
Your privacy matters. We collect only what we need to personalize your experience and we never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy. You may request access, export, or deletion of your data at any time.
6. Intellectual property
The Mo Xi name, interface, generated cards, and branding belong to the service operator. Readings generated for you are yours to keep and share, with attribution appreciated.
7. No warranties & limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
